OA Service
Corps

Order of the Arrow Service Corps is a week long provisional camp that brings the experience of an OA High Adventure right to the council. Through out the week, Arrowmen will spend their first half of the day working on a service project for camp. The second half of their day, the Arrowmen will have free range (to a certain point) on what they can do around camp. They can go take a nap, take some merit badge classed, help teach merit badge classes, attend open sessions, explore the camp, and much more. During Camp activities they will be able to come together and win the Troop competitions.

OASC is held during the second session at Saukenauk Scout Reservation and the fourth session at Camp Eastman.

There is a little more to Service Corps than just free time and service. During a week of Service Corps, any Ordeal member of the Lodge will have the opportunity to seal their membership and become a Brotherhood member. Those who attend will also get a special Service Corps flannel unique to that year as well as two OASC t-shirts. All of the service hours earned during OASC count towards the Lodge Service Flap Awards.
